Conditions of Contract
SRS Windows and Doors shall not be held responsible for delays or failure in delivery due to causes beyond its control and the installation may be continuous until complete.
SRS Windows and Doors is not responsible for the condition of customer’s house or any damage that may result due to the faulty components and/or worn out condition of the home.
The purchaser hereby agrees to permit SRS Windows and Doors to come upon the purchaser’s property for the purpose of measuring and installing and or repairing and installing under the guarantee, if necessary.
The within described merchandise shall remain the property of SRS Windows and Doors at the purchaser’s risk until full payment of the purchase price, including interest and charges as herein provided shall have been paid and no warranty or guarantee shall be honored or satisfied until the said merchandise becomes the property of the purchaser.
Work or material requested by purchaser, other than that specified in the contract, will be charged for at Contractors regular rate.
Window Warranty
Frames: All extruded vinyl components are warranted for a period specified by the manufacturer against chipping, cracking and scaling. This warranty will apply to all windows, provided there is no evidence that the window has been altered in any manner, or has been abused beyond normal day to day operation. The manufacturing company shall at its option, repair or replace the parts found to be defective, free of charge.
Glass: The manufacturer warrants all insulated glass units against seal failure resulting in condensation between the panes of glass for life. This warranty applies to windows which are properly installed, have not been altered in any manner, the glass is not cracked or broken. All other manufacturers’ warranties will apply to their specific products.
Hardware: Hardware on all windows carry a conditional lifetime warranty under normal use from the manufacturer. Abuse of hardware will void warranty.
Labor: The installation of windows and doors installed by SRS Windows and Doors is warranted for a period of five (5) years. Customers must maintain all caulking inside and out to maintain warranty.
Door Warranty
All components carry a 10 or 20 year warranty against manufacturer’s defects such as peeling or cracking of components (i.e. sills, slabs, frames) provided there is no evidence of alteration in any manner or has not been abused beyond normal day to day operation. The company shall at its option, repair or replace the parts found to be defective, free of charge.
Paint/Stain: All paint and stain finishes have a minimum 2 year warranty from the manufacturer. Check with your supplier for complete details.
Glass: Glass carries a five (5), ten (10) or twenty (20) year warranty from the glass manufacturer; ask for details.
Hardware: Hardware carries a conditional lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.
Labor: The installation of doors done by SRS Windows and Doors is warranted for a period of five (5) years. Customers must maintain all caulking inside and out as well as door sweeps, and weather stripping to maintain warranty.
All warranties are non-prorated and non-transferable unless indicated by SRS Windows and Doors.
Repairs will be carried out on site for all windows installed by SRS Windows and Doors.
Condensation on windows, doors, walls and ceilings which may occur as the natural result of humidity within the home or building area and changes in outside/inside temperature, does not indicate manufacturing or installation defects. Elimination of condensation is neither implied nor included under any warranty.
