The Fenestration Canada Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Canada’s door, window, and glazing industry. Recipients are honoured every other year at the Main Event after the first day of WinDoor. Everyone in the window and door industry is invited to join Fenestration Canada on Oct. 8 to celebrate and honour their industry peers.

C.P. Loewen Award – Mike Bruno, Everlast Group of Companies
Recognized for his outstanding commitment to advancing the Canadian window and door industry, as well as his extensive positive impact through the association, Mike Bruno has consistently demonstrated leadership and dedication to the industry and its people. A 13-year board member, he championed the creation of the Manufacturers Council, inspired the launch of the Main Event in 2017, and served as Chair of the Education Committee and President during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under his leadership, the association strengthened financially, built a dedicated staff team, and became a proactive, results-driven voice for the industry. All this was achieved while growing Everlast Group of Companies nationally and commercializing innovative products that continue to serve the window and door sector.
Industry Pioneer Award – John Zadro, OMNI Glass
John continues to be a pioneer in the development of fibreglass extrusions for the window and door industry. As a new board member with Fenestration Canada, he continutes to leave a positive impact through his work with the association. His innovation, advocacy, and long-standing commitment to and support of the industry exemplify the spirit of the Industry Pioneer Award.
Lifetime Achievement Award (Posthumous) – Martin Seier
The late Martin Seier is honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable career and lasting influence on the Canadian fenestration industry. Martin served on the board of the (then) Canadian Window and Door Industry Association, dedicating time to improving the industry and helping to mould Fenestration Canada into what it is today. Throughout his decades of leadership and dedication, his vision left a legacy that continues to inspire and impact the windor and door industry.
The awards will be formally presented at the Hall of Fame Ceremony during Casino Night at the Main Event, taking place on Oct. 8 at Paramount Event Space in Woodbridge, Ont.
