Window Warranty

Frames: All extruded vinyl components are warranted for a period specified by the manufacturer against chipping, cracking and scaling. This warranty will apply to all windows, provided there is no evidence that the window has been altered in any manner, or has been abused beyond normal day to day operation. The company shall at its option, repair or replace the pats found to be defective, fee of charge.

Glass: All insulated glass components are warranted against seal failure resulting in condensation between the panes of glass for life of the original purchaser and ten (10) years from the date of sale or transfer to a new home owner. The warranty applies to windows which are properly installed, have not been altered in any manner, the glass is not cracked or broken.

Hardware: Cranking hardware on all casements and awning windows carry a conditional lifetime warranty, hardware on sliding windows carries a conditional lifetime warranty.

Labour: The installation of windows and doors installed by SRS Windows and Doors is warranted for a period of five (5) years. Customers must maintain all caulking inside and out to maintain warranty.

Door Warranty

Components: We offer a ten year warranty against manufacturer defects such as peeling or cracking of components (ie. sills, slabs, frames) provided there is no evidence of alteration in any manner or has not been abused beyond normal day to day operation. The company shall at its option, repair or replace the parts found to be defective, free of charge.

Glass: Glass carries a five (5), ten (10) or twenty (20) year warranty from the glass manufacturer; ask for details.

Hardware: Hardware carries a conditional lifetime warranty from Defiant.

Labour: The installation of doors done by SRS Windows and Doors is warranted for a period of five (5) years. Customers must maintain all caulking inside and out to maintain warranty.

All warranties are non-prorated and non-transferable unless indicated by SRS Windows and Doors. Any warranties deemed allowable to be transferred, will include a nominal filing fee and not bond by the terms set out by the original warranty.

Repairs will be carried out on site for all items installed by SRS Windows and Doors.

Condensation on windows, doors, walls and ceilings which may occur as the natural result of humidity within the home or building area and changes in outside/inside temperature, does not indicate manufacturing or installation defects. Elimination of condensation is neither implied nor included under any warranty.
